The Keynote speaker will be Mr. Grant Smith, Director of the Institute of Research: Middle Eastern Policy – IRmep. Other speakers include: Ms. Alison Weir, President, Council for the National Interest and Executive Director, If Americans Knew and Ms. Pamela Olson, Author of “Fast Times in Palestine”. The entertainment section will be performed by standup Comedian : Mr. Amer Zahr.

In the last 3 years, 20 Student scholarships (Dr. Uwaydah Scholarship) were awarded by the Palestinian American Bridge Organization (PAB) to outstanding Palestinian students in the Houston Metropolitan area as well as the scholarship program that will include Palestine and the Diaspora (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, West Bank and Gaza) directly through the UNRWA Fields in these countries with the recently signed Memorandum of understanding (MoU) between UNRWA and the Palestinian American Bridge (PAB).

We have decided that there is no better time than now to start a project we have been working on for quite some time now. On the day after the 5th Annual Banquet ( Sunday, February 24th) we will have our First Annual Leadership Training Workshop hosted by PAB and conducted by Mrs. Pamela Olson and brief presentations by Mr. Grant Smith and Mrs. Alison Weir. Our main goals are to empower the youth, teach them how to achieve their goals with the opportunities that are presently available, teach them how to aspire to be a leader, and to excel in the presentation of the Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, World issues. Please encourage your youth to register on the google doc below and to be at Fadi’s at Eleven Sharp! All what they need to do is to be a PAB Members! If they are not members please asked them to visit our website at www.pab-usa.org to download the application. They can pay the membership fee ($25) the day of the Workshop! As members they are allowed admission to all the events like this one for a full year. At the Workshop we will be serving Fadi’s Complete Lunch on us! Spread the word to anyone who may be interested!
